The story behind The Spirit of Ubuntu
The Spirit of Ubuntu grew from my love of crystals, creativity and the belief that the things we surround ourselves with can carry meaning as well as beauty.
I was born in Zimbabwe, and the African philosophy of Ubuntu has always felt very special to me. Ubuntu is often translated as “humanity to others” and is perhaps best expressed by the idea:

“I am because we are."

It is about connection, kindness and recognising that what we do can make a difference to other people. That philosophy sits at the heart of The Spirit of Ubuntu.

Crystals chosen with care
I love finding beautiful and unusual crystals, particularly pieces with their own character. My collection is constantly changing, which means there is nearly always something new to discover.

Wherever possible, I work with trusted suppliers and source responsibly, including crystals and materials from Africa.

Made with meaning
Many of the pieces you’ll find here are created by hand. From my crystal mobiles to Heart to Hold and Pocket Hug gifts, I love turning beautiful crystals into something that has a little more meaning behind it.

My crystal mobiles are individually handmade using natural crystals and copper, with three stones brought together to honour the power of three. Each one is unique and created with intentions of hope and love.
